1st...Education requirements :- The Applicant should Complete graduation in any discipline from recognized University .

Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

2nd...Marital Status :- The both the Male and Female applicants are eligible to apply for this Examination ..

3rd...Age Criteria :- The Applicant age should be Minimum 19 years and Maximum 25 years and

No Upper age relaxation for both the OBC and sc/st candidates.
CDS Examination Pattern :-

This CDS Examination is objective type with Multiple choice and you should crack the two papers, English and General Knowledge.

Each paper consist of 100 marks and the Total Marks Consist of 200 Marks .

This CDS Examination having Negative Marking system . So, For each wrong answers you may loose mark which you have already gained .

for the qualify marks of the cds marks is the 40% marks,

for the shortlisted candidate merit list is prepared differently,

shortlisted candidate faced the SSB five days interview in Chennai.

then officer is selected and provide the training.

for the cds-ota exam candidate must have graduate in any stream.

the age limit for the exam is 21 to 24 years.

no age relaxation for the reserved category.

the exam held two times in a years.

There is no minimum mark for the CDS Examination so your just passed in your Graduation you can apply for the CDS Exam and also being Final year students also eligible for the CDS Exam but the you should be submit the All documentation in the Office after you completion of your degree so be confidential to provide the From the Office.

Nationality:- You must have be a citizen of india or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal.

HELLO,you must score minimum40% in OTA exam, it is not the cuttoffcutoff is not fixed it varies with merit.if you got 40% it means not that you are selected it depends on the merit.

you must get atleast 40% if u have appeared for ota ,but it is based on the cut off marks they gona keep the % .

Dear student,
The UPSC hasn't decided any specific cut-off marks for the CDS-OTS exams..
It generally depends on the performance of candidates appearing in the exams per 6 months.
Although,its usually said to be a 40%,,u can't be assured of being selected after scoring it.
So I would advice u to look after your performance,,rather the qualifying marks,,as a good performance would assure u of being selected.

for this you must score minimum 40% in OTA exam, it is not the cuttoff

dear friend the merit of ota is generally based on the english exam as it is hard to secure marks in gk exam so if you are getting around 60 questions right after calculating the negative marks and 40 in gk then you will qualify the written.

2)If you wanted to join INDIAN AIR FORCE or INDIA NAVY then you must be in the engineering or must have taken PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS in the 12th class Level.

3)Age Eligiblity for CDS Examination :

* For IMA : 19 to 24 Years
* For OTA : 19 to 25 years
* For Naval : 19 to 22 years

4)You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN.

THE SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
