    The best selector of the subjects is you only and none other. Because only you know your defects .but if you wanted to know the list of the subjects you can tune into the main site of the civil service exam which contain all the subject list. Better take a subject related to what you have studied in the degree, that will be good for you to understand. If you don't like to take that you have to put extra power and energy to understand every concept from the grass root level, because the exams is on of the toughest exam you are going to face
    theoretical subjects like history political science are elected by many so competition in those subject is very high
    so take very keen attentions in selecting the subject

    i have completed my graduation with 62% i have got 77% and 82% in class tenth and twelfth respectively as i am not very good in maths so i just wanted to know that what subjects should i opt for my civil services preliminary and mains exams.
    i am good in theoretical subjects please explain me the procedure for how to prepare for the p.c.s examinations .
