To write the ssc exam is 21 years

Dear here is the details of the age limits :

For a general the age limit is 21-30

And for sc/st 21-35 and for obc 21-33

And for ph 21-40

But the minimum is 21 for all whether it is general or a reserved candidate

the eligibility criteria would be that u should have a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification and that u should be between 21 and 30 yrs of age as on 1st august

The criteria for the upsc exam is below :
--> one should done their graduation from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks for general cast , 55% for other cast .
--> age limit for the general cast is between 21-30 , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman/physically handicapped.
--> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for general cast , 7 for obc cast , no limit for the sc/st cast .
so according to above criteria the minimum age required is 21 .

Dear pal,

• One need to satisfy age criteria in addition to the the academic eligibility. To prevent aspirant from attempting many times and avoiding many aspirants from attempting the exam age restriction is put off.

• The minimum age required for aspirant of any category is 21. There is no change in this for aspirant of any category.

• The maximum age limit for appearing for a general category aspirant is 30. For BC, MBC aspirant three year relaxation is provided and they can make their attempt till 33. sc and st aspirant can apply till 35 years of age the same holds good for defence persons and physically challenged .

• So if you wish to appear make yourself equip within the duration that is available for you to do. Later do not feel for it . In addition to the age limit you need to remember the number of attempts one can make .

1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

whose eligibility criteria are :
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
You must be a citizen ofIndia,

or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
of 3 years for the OBCs
and
5 years for the SC/STs.


You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
stream,or be a final year student in the same

The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
7 for an OBC candidate,and
unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

2. central police force (CPF) held once every year

whose eligibilty criteria are

1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
of 3 years for the OBCs

5 years for the SC/STs.

3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

exam conducted bi-annually

in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
& one must be university graduate from recognised university

there is no age relaxation for any cateogory


so, we conclude that there are ranges of 18,21 years for the graduates as the minimum age required by the UPSC

while for 10+2 candidates it starts from 16.5 years as the minimum age limit.

minimum age is required for the upsc :-

1. for general category 21 to 30 years and attempts the exam 4 times.

2. for obc category age relaxtion is 3 years and age limit is 21 to 33 years and attempts the exam 7 times.

3. for sc/st category age relaxtion is 5 times and age limit is 21 to 35 years and attempts the exam uniimited till

complete the age.
