Dear candidate,
The field you will be placed in after clearing the UPSC Civil Service exams depends on the rank you score.
At best,you can be placed in the INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
You can also be placed in the INDIAN POLICE SERVICE OR THE INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICE OR THE INDIAN POSTAL SERVICE OR REVENUE MINISTRY OR OFFICERS IN RAILWAYS.
It completely depends on your performance in the exams.
The better are your results,the more is the opportunity for you to choose among these fields.

Qualifying the Civil Service exams conducted by the UPSC offers posts of dignity and honour at the central government.
If you qualify these exams with good scores,You can have posts such as the IAS,the IPS,posts of revenue officers,posts of foreign embassy where you represent the nation in the other countries,reputed posts in the Indian Railways and also some high posts in the Indian Postal Service.
There are many posts as these,,where you can work with complete respect.
So you can surely look forward to qualifying these.

Clearing UPSC exams will open the door for various high-esteemed jobs like District Magistrate,Deputy Collector,Secretary,Assisstant Secretary to name a few of IAS.Alongwith these different high-profile jobs of IES,IFS,IPS are also there.Dream jobs buddy they are!

you have got 20 major top caders in the upsc .eg.ias ,ips,ifs,irs,etc so wen you get qualify in the mains and aft the interview based on you completye score and vacancies you will be placed .

dear friend it depends on as which exam of upsc you clear as upsc takes various exams like if you clears civil services exam then you can become IAS or IPS and if you clears combined defense services exam then you will join the armed forces as an officer so it totally depends as which exam of upsc you clears ok friend

Hello,
After Completing UPSC exam you will be placed in different reputed jobs.

You can go for the IAS Indian Administrative Service i.e. Deputy Collector(DC) or Deputy Magistrate (DM) of a Dist.

Also You can go for IPS Indian Police Service i.e. Superintendent Of Police (SP), DSP etc.

Also you can go for these fields : Indian Revenue Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service etc.
