IES stands for Indian Engineering Services , Its exam is conducts by Union Public Service Commission.

For that exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

You are a civil engineering student then you can take choice of civil engineering subject in IES exam.

Subjects for IES exam :-

Electronic and Telecommunication
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical

IES exam is one of the toughest exam conducted by UPSC in India you can crack that only by working very hard you should have very great knowledge of your subjects and that can have only by studying very hard

ELIGIBILITY

You must be a graduate

Must hold a degree of engineering with any one of the following stream.

1)civil

2)mechanical

3)electrical

4)electronics and communication engineering.


HOW TO CRACK:

The first thing which you have to do is to manage a proper syllabus for this examination.

Download the question papers

Practice them as good as possible

Manage your time and fix your time in different duties.

Concentrate on studies.

strengthen your willing power.

once you have completed ur graduations u can go for the ies exams....n ofciurse there are benefits in giving these exams as u get a government job afterall....n in today's world government jobs are being highly preferred over private sector as in government jobs u have a lifetime security of your job

I.E.S means Engineering Service examination
The examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(U.P.S.C) once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY:-

--YOU MUST BE AN ENGINEERING GRADUATE TO APPLY FOR THE EXAM.
--OR YOU MUST BE A DEGREE HOLDER IN ENGINEERING WITH FOLLOWING STREAM.
