UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It conducts many exams. Every exam has different-different requirements.

Exams such as :
NDA , SCRA , CDS , IES , Civil services.

NDA and SCRA exams conducts by UPSC twice in every year . Those candidates are eligible which has passed 12th exam , and also can apply in 12th.

CDS , IES and Civil Services conducts by UPSC once in every year . Those candidates are eligible which has passed graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

For NDA :

>> Candidate must be under 16.5-19 years.

>> Candidate must be passed 12th and also can apply in 12th.

>> Candidate should not be married.

>> Only male candidates are eligible.

>> Candidate should be physically good.

For SCRA :

>> Candidate must be under 17-21 years.

>> Candidate should be passed 12th and also can apply in 12th.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and it conduct many examinations like for civil services and for engineering also.

Like NDA and CDS are conducted by UPSC.There are some eligibility criteria which was defined by the UPSC for these examinations.

Like for NDA,UPSC stated that only unmarried males are eligible and girls are not eligible for NDA.

UPSC means that Union Public Service Commission that conducts communicating for various post. It conducts communicating for IAS, Indian body Services and IPS Indian Police Services. IFS Indian Forest Services, IES Engineering Services, SCRA Special category Railway Apprentice etc.

It covers all the deparment clerk level to engineer level students which gives chances to all graduates of any stream's in various exam's/ or also conducts specially for specific branches

U.P.S.C STANDS FOR UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.
IT IS A CENTRAL AGENCY WHICH CONDUCTS VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS TO RECRUIT CANDIDATES ON GOVERNMENT SECTOR.

Exams conducted by U.P.S.C. are as follows:-

UPSC is abbreviated as Union Public Services Commission.It is a centralised agency which conducts national level exams for Government jobs like Civil Services,Combined Defence Services,IES,Combined Medical Entrance Examination etc.There is a lot of craze about UPSC amongst students due to the perks a government job offers.If you are a student and wants a government Job plz visit:-

Hello,

UPSC means Union Public Service Commission which conducts exam for different post. It conducts exam for IAS, Indian Administrative Services and IPS Indian Police Services. IFS Indian Forest Services, IES Engineering Services, SCRA Special Class Railway Apprentice etc.

First of all you have to clear in which exam you want to know about the job opportunities. IES, IAS, IFS or IPS exams.

For IAS/IPS exams you can get the job of Indian Administrative Service like DC Deputy Collector or DM deputy Magistrate and for IPS you can get Superintendent Of Police i.e. SP etc.

For IES examination you can get the job of Railway Engineering Stores, Central Engineering Services etc.

For SCRA you can go for the Railway Apprentice Examination.

The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:

Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

There are two types of written examination in UPSC.

UPSC Prelim exam and UPSC Mains exam. You will appear in UPSC Prelim exam first in which Objective type Questions are asked from General English, General Studies etc.

For UPSC Mains you have to choose Subjects. There are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects like Hindi, English, Bengali etc.
