yes upsc conducts ies indian engineering services examination for the recruitments of engineers in various departments. they need engineers which have specialisation in civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics and telecommunication engineering.prepare hard for ies exam.

INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES (IES) EXAM
CIVIL SERVICE EXAM (IAS IPS)
INDIAN FOREST EXAM (IFS)

You can first and foremost apply for the IES exam in Electronics & Telecommunication stream.Alongwith that,you can also apply for IAS,IPS,SSC CGL examinations.For more details visit http://upsc.gov.in and http://ssc.nic.in

an Electronic and Telecommunication engineer can appear for the Indian Engineering services exam , civil services exam or indian forest services exam of UPSC.

Minimum qualification is B.tech in any stream
Age limit is 21 to 30 years relaxation is given to SC/ST,OBC,Govt employee.
Nationality is Indian

date of notification and opening date is 18.8.2012
Last date is 17.9.2012
Exam date is 1.12.2012

Different cut off for all the different different category student.

The best govt jobs that you can apply for are,

IES, Railways, BSNL, DRDO and state recruitemnet commision etc.

The IES ie Indian Engineering Services is one of the most royal jobs in India. There are two papers in the examination
1. General Science or General Ability Test (Common Paper)
2. Elective Engineering paper (Any one of CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS).
