There is no defference in NDA 1 and NDA 2 because NDA is the examination which is conducted twice in a year so it is named as NDA 1 and NDA 2 so never take these as different things.
Yes definitely you can apply for the NDA 2 as well if you have applied for the NDA 1.
Because this the examination which never bound the candidates to apply for more than once.
So it will be good if you apply again for the exam if you are not sure that examination is not gone good.
Or if you have not got the call for the SSB.
Only you need to fulfil the criteria of the NDA examination which i have mentioned as follows-
You must have passed class 12th in any stream if applying for the indian army.
You need to have physics and maths in class 12th if you want to apply for the air force and navy.
Your age must be 16.5 to 19 years .
Age relaxation is not there.
Boys are only eligible for the examination.so girls should not apply for the same.
Selection procedure for the examination is as follows-
Written examination.
SSB interview.
Medical examination.

**According to question: Basically there is no difference regarding education/age/syllabus. To reduce the work load also to give facility candidates regarding age/chances UPSC conducte both NDA I. NDA II, exam within the year.

NDA-National Defence Academy.
A entry in all three wings for intermediate candidates.
Only boys are eligible.

NDA conducted twice in a year,as it is conducted twice.
To name it properly,it is named as NDA I-when occurs first time in a year
NDA II-when occurs second time in same year.

The best way is to study the previous year question papers available in the website of UPSC
www.upsc.gov.in

Previous year question papers,in the website of upsc.
Also R.S Agarwal aptitude test papers are good practice.

There is no difference between nda1 & nda 2.
Both are similar.

If your age limit should not exceed.

NDA I and NDA II both are the same exam with different names because they are taken at two different times............
Both are the exams for the selection process for the defence jobs in India.....
No doubt if you are appeared in the NDA I then also you can apply for the NDA II but your age must be within the limit i,e. 16.5 to 19 years......
You must be 12th pass to apply for this exam and also you must be the citizen of India......
There are so many books in market you can follow any one of them but give more importance to solving the previous years question...........

National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA) is held twice a year.
once in the month of april called NDA I and once in the month of august called NDA II.

you can apply for NDA I or NDA II as long as your age is between 16.5 to 19 years .

dear friend,

There is no difference between the NDA-I and NDA-II. Both have same syllabus, same exam pattern, same eligibility criteria. The difference is that both are conducted in different month of a year. If you cleared the NDA-I then you does not need to apply for NDA-II. if by chance you does not cleared the NDA-I then you can apply for NDA-II but the thing is that you must satisfy the eligibility Criteria.

In NDA questions are of 12th level. so for preparation follow the NCERT books.

NDA 1 AND NDA 2 ARE BOTH THE SAME EXAMS ,WE CAN SAY THAT IT IS THE SAME EXAMS WHICH IS CONDUCTED TWICE IN A YEAR .

NDA 1 IS HELD IN THE MONTH OF APRIL and

NDA 2 IS HELD IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST.

JUST LIKE THIS YEAR THE NDA-1 WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD ON 15 APRIL 2012(SUNDAY) AND THE NDA-2 WILL BE HELD ON 19 AUGUST 2012 (SUNDAY).

AND YES A CANDIDATE IS ELIGIBLE FOR NDA -2 WHILE HE APPEARED IN NDA-1 .

So ,If you are eligible to appear for
NDA-1 exams,then you can also appear
for the NDA-2 exams,,provided you don't
cross the age limits.
As for preparation,the questions asked
are very basic in nature.
So you needn't follow any special
books.The books you have been using
since your class 8 till the intermediate
are just enough.
You can also refer to the NCERT books
in particular,as they provide knowledge
till depth.

there is no differnce b/w the nda-1 and nda-2. exam conducted bi-annually so it show the nda-1 and nda-2



For nda exam:-

Age limit for the 16 to 19.5 years only unmarried candidate eligible for the exam.


No relaxation for the reserve category


Secondary class with non-medical subject (math.chemistry, physics)

upsc conducts NDA exams twice a years which are known as NDA I and NDA II ....
if you have completed your 12th with physics , english, mathematics and if your age is between 16.5 to 19.5 years then you are eligible for NDA and you can apply for NDA....
the books by S.Chand are best for NDA preparation...

since NDA is conducted twice a year so it is specified as NDA-I & NDA-II.
Basic eligibility required are:
-You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-Min age required is 18 years.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.

So ,If you are eligible to appear for NDA-1 exams,then you can also appear for the NDA-2 exams,,provided you don't cross the age limits.

these are the written exam conducted by the union public service commission (upsc)for the recruitment of the aspirants into the defense sector like army,navy,air force..

NDA I & NDA II means that this exam held twice in a year




eligibility=

age=16 1/2 to 19 years

gender=male only( females are not allowed to write NDA EXAM)

CANDIDATE should be a citizen of INDIA

he should had scored 60 % of minimum marks


he should be unmarried

nda 1 helds on month of april and n.d.a.2 helds from december. R.s.agarwal for mathematics and lucent for g.k.along with weekly magazines based upon g.k.

their is no difference between nda(I) and nda(II) actually nda exam is held two times in a year mainly april and october and you can appear both the exam in a year if you aer full fill the eligibility criteria add the best book for nda prepration is arihant publication of nda that contains all the last 10 years papers with solution

There is no difference between NDA I and NDA II . This examination is conducted twice in year as namely NDA I and NDA II.

NDA I and NDA II have a same eligibility criteria and there is no difference between them.

NDA I examination will be held on April , NDA II examination will be held on August or September.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Those who are passed their Higher Secondary level (12th) examination with any desire subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized School and the candidate are eligible to apply for NDA Service like Army wings , Navy wings and Air force wings .

If the candidate want to join in Air force or Navy wings , the candidate have to completed 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects .

The candidate should have a minimum 16 half years and maximum 19 years for both examination .

hello, the best book for prepration of NDA is book of ARIHANT's.this will definately help you to prepare well for NDA xam.asa well as book of pearson for general knowledge and book of TATA MC GRAW HILL of objective english by Edgar thorpe for english will provide you the sufficiebt material to crack nda with addition to your domain subject of physics from pradeep and maths from R.D. sharma and ncert should be preferd first.moreover if u read history book of ncert book of 6 class to 12 class will help you..........
