Re: What is the Difference between OTA and IMA and which one is best among these two? Eligibility criteria and syllabus for both?

    Hello

IMA-Indian Military Academy-a entry in army

OTA-Officers Training Academy-a entry in army

Both IMA and OTA are entries in army.

But the difference is that IMA provide you opportunity to join army and serve for 30 years maximum.
Where as OTA is for only 14 years and not for life term service.

    IMA offers permanent commission.
    OTA offers Short Service Commission

This is only difference between IMA and OTA.

    Hi Aspirant

The candidate should be pass in graduation from

    A recognized indian university

Age for the IMA Exam: 19-24

    For the OTA Exam:

    G.K

The only difference is that english is coming in

The IMA Exam but not in the Ota exam

    Best of luck
