That Is Very Tough For Prediction Of Cut-Off Marks For Exam Because Every Year Appear Students In Exam Always Increase And Also The Cut-Off Point So Only We Have Done From Our Side Is Preparation For Exam, So Try For Hard Work, And When Result Is Come Soon Than You Got The Cutoff Points.....

cut-off should be approx 125 out 250 marks of general ability while for other paper it should be 110 marks for thegeneral cateogory as the paper of 2011 is very esy compared to previous year provided that this time vacancies also reduce to 60% i.e 497 unlike to 2010 that is 800 finally selected.

THough result has been declared by the UPSC in last week of may 2012, so check your result by log in thewww.upsc.gov.in

as far as i am concern cut off should be 85 in first paper there after your second paper will check and lots of candidates saying paper was so easy and cut off should be minimum 110-125 but its not happening it is UPSC 125 is not a easy task for conman student but who preparing for civil he can do.. take care

Dear friend

In 2009 final cut off for the post of assistant commandant was 256 out of 600 marks in general cat.
i think this yr for PET cut off can be 100 marks (that's 50 correct questions) or even more than that but for final selection one should get.
above 120 in gk(since the paper was easy and secondly this yr posts are also very less i.e 497......in 2010 posts were more than 800).
