    INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAMINATION i.e ( IES) CONDUCTED BY UPSC TO RECRUIT ENGINEERING CANDIDATES IN THE GOVERNMENT SECTOR

    HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES OF ENGINEERING

    1)MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

    2)ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

    3)CIVIL ENGINEERING

    4)ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

    IES ELIGIBILITY=

    a)age limit=21-30 years

    b)educational qualification=

    degree in engineering or equivalent or M.Sc in wireless communication,radio physics ,electronics, as special subjects

    ***exam pattern=consists of 2 parts

    1)part I= Objective types

    2)part II=Conventional

    THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE SYLLABUS SO NEED NOT TO BE WORRY ABOUT IT..JUST NEED CONCENTRATE ON IT

    Dear candidate,
    There is no change of pattern of examination in the IES Exams.There is a plan to ring in some changes in the Civil Service exams conducted by the UPSC,but the IES exams pattern will remain unaffected in all probability.
    Even if there are some changes,they will be notified.Keep visiting the official website of The UPSC.
    So you can study according to your plans.

    Dont worry friend there is no change in the examination pattern . though the government announced the change in pattern but there is no official statement given so far , so dont worry , prepare well . all the best

    don't panic there is no change in the syllabus of IES.
    it is same as before.

    Note:-

    Indian Engineering Services (IES). Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/posts under the following categories

    Category I�Civil Engineering.

    Category II�Mechanical Engineering.

    Category III�Electrical Engineering.

    Category IV�Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

    >There is no change in syllabus but most probably syllabus changed on 2013.So dont be panic try to clear this exam.

    There is no change in exam pattern of ies. But it may most probably change from 2013 onwards. There may be revised change in examination pattern and syllabus. For now you may be relaxed.

    sir actually i wanted to knw that is the syllabus is changed for upsc IES also or only for upsc civil services exam
