Syllabus and Paper Pattern for National Defense Academy Exams for various posts in Indian Army, Naval ship and Air Force :

Paper I - Mathematics - Separate - Maximum Marks - 300

Algebra
Matrices and Determinants
Trigonometry
Differential Calculus
Analytical Geometry of Two and Three Dimensions
Integral Calculus of Differential equations
Vector Algebra
Statistics and Probability -1. Statistics 2. Probability

Paper II - General Ability Test - Maximum Marks - 600

Part A - English - Maximum marks are 200

Part B General Knowledge - Maximum marks are 400

Sections under Part B :

Physics
Chemistry
General Science
History - Freedom Movement
Geography
Current Events

If you have passed class 12th in any discipline and your age is between 16.5-19 years then you can apply for National Defense Academy but if you want to apply for Air Force under NDA then you should have passed class 12th with Mathematics and Physics as a compulsory subjects.

1. Paper 1 : Mathematics : 300 Marks


2. Paper 2 : General Ability Test : 600 Marks


Interview : 900 Marks

In NDA There is two paper with objective type question.

Mathematics total marks 300
General Ability total marks 600

1 Mathematics

In this paper question will be related in Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions,

2 General Ability

In English Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension

And General Knowledge

Paper-2:General Ability Test(600 marks)

There are two parts in this paper

Part A:English(200 marks)

Part B:General Ability(400 marks)

In general ebility 100 marks for Physics,60 marks for Chemistry,40 marks for General Science,80 marks for History,80 marks for Geography,40 marks from Current Events..
