Dear

For IES Exam you should have degree in engineering if you have or you are in final year students you can apply.

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Age should be

For General 21-30 years
For OBC 21-33 years
For SC/ST 21-35 years.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you can apply.

Hi Aspirant,

Yes friend you can apply for IES (Indian Engineering Service) exam in final year of BCA. IES exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of candidates at the post of chief executive engineer.

This exam is conducted once in a year at all India level. To apply for this exam you must fulfill the eligibility criteria of IES exam.

Qualification for IES exam

You should have any technical degree to apply for IES exam from recognized university or its equivalent.

You can also apply in final year of graduation.

You can apply for IES exam in the following department of engineering

Civil

Mechanical

Electrical

Electronics and Telecommunication engineering

You should be in age of 21 to 30 years

Age relaxation is applicable only for eligible category

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

You must have Indian Citizenship.

Or A subject of Nepal.

Or A subject of Bhutan.


Candidates can give only limited attempt in IES exam

4 attempts for general candidates

7 attempts for OBC candidates

No limit of attempts for SC/ST candidates


Candidates can apply for IES exam through online application form at UPSC official website

The notification for UPSC exam will be updated at UPSC website as well as employment newspaper.

The notification for IES exam will be updated on 16/3/2013. The last date of application form is 15/4/2013 while exam will be held on 28/6/2013.
