The eligibility criteria for civil services is Graduation from a recognized University.
age limit is 21 year to 30 year


For NDA age limit is 16.5 to 19 year and qualification is HSC.
For CDS candidate should be a graduate from recognized University.

Dear Candidate,
-The Civil Service Exams are conducted by the UPSC,once in an year.
-The forms of this exams are available in the month of February in the main branches of Post Offices and also available ONLINE.
-The Preliminary Exams are conducted in the month of May and the Mains Exams are conducted about in the month of October-November.
-The eligibility criteria for these exams are:
# You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan,settled in India before 1962.
# You must be 21-30 Years of age.
The upper age limit is relaxable by a 5 years for SC/STs and by 3 yrs for OBCs.
# You must hold a degree of graduation or equivalent,from an UGC recognized university,or be a final year student in the same.

All eligible candidates are free to apply for the exams.For more updated you can always visit the officIal website of UPSC.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC Examinations:-
Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.
Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956
Number of attempts: - Every eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination four times.

You have to be :
a)a graduate in any stream from a recognized university
b)aged between 21-30yrs(5yrs relaxation for SC/STs and 3yrs for obcs)

THE UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION CONDUCTS EXAMS FOR IAS/IPS/IFS/IES ETC.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:

Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.

Date of Notification: 4 Feb 2012 Approx February Month.

Date of Examination:

For Prelims 20 May 2012 Approx May month.

For Mains 5 October 2012 Approx October Month.

IMA EXAM IS HELD AS CDS EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY UPSC.

THE EXPECTED MONTH OF FILLING APPLICATION FORM IS NOVEMBER.

U.P.S.C. is not an Examination.
U.P.S.C. stands for Union Public Service Commission.
It is a central authorized agency which conducts different examinations to recruit candidates for different posts.
