Friend, please note that# NDA Examination is conducted two times in a year by UPSC.# Candidate must be above the age of 16.5 years and below the age of 19 years for NDA Examination.# Candidate must be either appeared in 10+2 or have passed 10+2 in any stream.# For Airforce or Navy wing, candidate must be 10+2 in PCM Stream. And for Army wing, candidate must be 10+2 in any stream.# Candidate must be Unmarried male only. Females are not considered eligible.# Only Indian nationals are eligible.# Candidate must be physically and medically fit in all respects.

Hello,
NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.
The NDA & NA Exam is conducted in two stages:
1. Written Exam
2. SSB Interview

After clearing the Written Exam the eligible candidates are called for SSB Interview via call letters at different centers.
During the SSB, eligible candidates are tested for different skills like medical fitness, leadership skills, communication skills etc.

Then remaining candidates are recruited into different wings of National Defence Academy i.e. Indian Army wing, Indian Air Force wing, Navy wing,
There candidates are trained and educated in different fields for 3 years and then they graduate from NDA with a degree.
The next and last stage is IMA, the passed out candidates from NDA are sent to IMA for 1 year training and after passing out from IMA the candidates are posted in their respective fields in officer cadre.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is the entrance exam to enter into the field of civil services like Indian Navy,Indian Air Force and Indian Military.

The Age limit for NDA is that your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.

NDA: National Defense Academy.....UPSC will hold the NDA exam twice a year.

Through NDA exam you can enter into the following wings namely....

Airforce
Army
Navy

Eligibility for NDA:

You have to complete the Intermediate from any recognized university.

And your age is not less than 16.5 years and not more than 19 years.


After clearing the written test you can go for interview........

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR N.D.A.:-

The selection procedure of National Defense Academy is divided into 3 parts.

1) Written examination
2) Interview
3) Medical test

Written test is conducted by U.P.S.C.
Interview process is carried out by Service Selection Board.
Medical test is conducted by Service Medical Board.

In written exam you have to appear for 2 papers.
1)Mathematics - Paper carries 300 marks
2)General Ability - It is further divided in to 2 parts.

dear friend they do not build merit on your intermediate marks you have to get good marks in the UPSC exam which you are going to write then you have to perform very well at the interview and then the medical your merit will be based on your written marks ant your interview marks that is all they donot consider your intermediate marks ok friend so work hard and all the best

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection to these institutions is made through a written test conducted twice a year. Those who qualify in the written tests are further sent to various Service Selection Boards(Intelligence & Personality Test).
Qualified students will be placed in final order of merit list on basis of total marks secured in Written Test & Service Selection Boards.
