Dear UPSC board has announced the dates for this year's Geologist Examination please visit at www.upsc.gov.in

Start date for online application - 24-08-2013

Last date for online application - 23-09-2013

Date for UPSC Geologist Examination - 09-11-2013

To apply for this examination, you should have a

Master's degree in Geology or applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognized university or

Should posses diploma in associate membership in applied geology of Indian School of Mines Dhanbad or

Master's degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized university

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 32 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBCs

DEAR ASPIRANT,Eligibility FOR GEOLOGY EXAM
1.Master�s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology; or
2.Master�s degree in Mineral Exploration (for posts in Geological Survey of India only), or
3.Master�s degree in Hydrogeology (for posts in central ground water board only) from a recognized university;
4.Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
5.Age : A candidate age should be below 32 years as on mentioned date in Advt.

You can appear in Geologist Exam of 2012, the last date for receiving application is 24/09/2012 Monday.

You can fill form online in upsc official website: www.upsc.gov.in and also in this website you can find the Previous Years Question Papers
