I.A.S -- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES This IAS exam is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION And you need to write the exam well ( Bit Tough exam ) You must have a minimum of GRADUATION to write this exam And you need to go to the Website www.upsc.gov.in THere search for the Updates When ever they release the notification you need to apply then And the minimum age must be 21 years Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years ALL THE GOOD LUCK

This exam will be conduct in three steps like prelims exam, mains exam n final is personal interview. Cleared all three step you will get job as a IAS officer through UPSC. All the best...........
Re: In which way should I become IAS officer? Hello friend, To qualifying the IAS exam conducted by UPSC is the way to become an IAS officer. The exam consist of 3 stages: 1.Preliminary: The preliminary exam is just a qualifying exam with 2 papers.The questions are of objective types. 2.Main Exam: After qualifying the main exam one can appear the main written exam.The candidates are allow to choose 2 optional subject.The questions are of conventional essay types. 3.The final stage is interview to test their mental ability & personality. Once you qualified the exam with a good rank then you go for training.After training you can posted as per recruitment of central/state Govt. organizations. This is the way to become an Indian Administrative Officer(IAS). The exam is very competitive. All the Best.

You will be eligible for IAS exam after completion of your degree course. Just make sure that your age is in accordance with the IAS norms means your age must be 21 to 30 years if you are a general category . There is age relaxation available for 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. There is limit in number of attempts for general and OBC which is 4 and 7 respectively. There is no limit for SC/ST category. The exam will have of three stages: -CSAT ( Civil Services Aptitude Test) -IAS Mains -Interview The merit is based on marks obtained in Mains and interview. CSAT is just qualfying in nature and only those who qualify CSAT will be allowed to give mains exam.

Dear friend, if you want to become an IAS officer than you have to appear in the civil services examination because there is no any other way to become an IAS officer. to be appear in the CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION you have to become eligible for that according to the criteria given below, eligibility requirement:- * the candidate must be the citizen of India.. * the candidate must be a graduate from a govt recognized university. age criteria:- * for general category aspirants :- 21-30 years. * for obc category aspirants :- 21-33 years. * for sc/st category:- 21-35 years. if you are according to the criteria as mentioned above then you can apply for the same because you have to complete the eligibility criteria and age criteria to become eligible for civil services examination , but remember there is an restriction of no. of attempts for general category and obc category which are as under, No of attempts allowed:- @ for general category:- only 4 attempts. @ for obc category:- only 7 attempts. @ for sc/st category:- no. restriction. for further details you can visit on :- http://www.upsc.gov.in good luck for the examination !

This exam is conducted at three stages. Pre exam main exam personal interview so start preparing for it and fullfill your dream. Best of luck
In which way should I become IAS officer? sir, I am a final year student of b.tech(electronics)......i am not so good in engineering line(63%).....and.......my GS is good.....i want to be an IAS officer...... but there are two ways for preparing it----- 1.) Go for IES coaching and strong your GS apptitude(common to both IES and IAS). technical part of electronics and get selection in PSU's or IES do job for 1 or 2 years and then prepare for IAS becoz in case i will not get selection in ...IAS my future will be secure . i would have experience of job at that situation. 2.) Go for IAS coaching and prepare for it....... But in case i will not select in IAS in 4 or 5 years then what is the other opportunities ahead of me.. because there will be a long gap..... WHICH WAY SHOULD I SELECT FOR IAS? please tell me.......
