Dear Candidate The IFS exam is not objective type. it is a subjective type paper. their are six papers are to be cleared to become an IFS officer paper 1 General English paper 2 General knowledge paper 3 optional subjects after giving the optional subjects paper the every subjects have to papers. The list of optional Subjects is provided by the UPSC. which is give below 1. Agriculture 2. Animal Husbandry 3. botany 4. Chemistry 5. Commerce 6. Economics 7. Civil Engineering 8. political science 10. medical Science 11. statistics 12. Zoology 13. Anthropology 14. mechanical Engineering 15. Law 16. Management 17. Public Administration 18. Sociology 19. Geology 20. Geography 21. Indian history 22. Psychology
