    Hi

government lecturer should not get any age relaxation for the UPSC exam.there is no such criteria.

you can see the following eligibility criteria for UPSC exam..

Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by UPSC:

1)Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
2)candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
3)age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
4)age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
5)age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

No sir there is no relaxation provided in cut-off marks in any condition and for any candidate because UPSC board has a fixed criteria where you have to qualify the exam both pre and mains and UPSC board did not decided the percentage marks that how much you should have to qualify the exam so that we are also unable to tell you the face about this but you will not get relaxation in cut-off marks but there is a difference in the passing marks for various categories which is following - approx :

    General Category : 60% marks

    OBC Category : 55-57% marks

    SC Category : 52-54% marks

    ST Category : 50 % marks

PWDs and Ex-Servicemen also have less cut-off marks criteria which would be decided by the UPSC Board.
