For the IMA ( Indian Military Academy) no need to worry about the Intermediate percentage .For the IMA Main Important the First you have to complete the graduation from the recognized college or University. There is compulsory in any stream of the graduation � means you can complete the graduation in any of the stream even if you complete the graduation in the commerce field then also eligible for the Indian Military Academy.

After securing the Graduation You need to clear the CDSE exam, The CDSE stands for the Combined Defence Service Exam. This exam is conducted by the UPSC.

The CDSE exam is conducted in the Month of the April and September. You can apply for the exam in the official website � online .The candidates who are in the final year of the graduation such candidates are also eligible for the exam.

The Exam will consist of the

English
General Knowledge
Elementary Mathematics
Total Marks � 300

The candidates who will clear it called for the Interview. The Interview is conducted by the SSB in Bhopal, Bangalore and also in the Allahabad. The Duration of the Interview is five to six days.

The candidates who will clear the interview called for the Medical examination. The Medical Examination will be conducted in the nearest Military Hospital

For IMA (Indian Military Academy) you would be appear in CDS (Combined Defence Service) Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year

For CDS exam you must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university

Age should be between 19-24 years

So dear for IMA you would be complete your Graduation

There are two ways for you to get into IMA:
1. NDA & NA Examination
2. CDS Examination
Both of these exams are conducted by UPSC and UPSC doesn't consider marks so don't worry about it. You just have to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria to appear for the Exam.

Since you are an undergraduate you can apply for NDA & NA Examination.
NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.

Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.

Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.

After graduation you can apply for CDS Examination.
CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination it is also conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of candidates in Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers Training Academy.

CDS: Stands for the Common Defence Services exam

Whose exam is conducting twice in a year and if you want to join it

Then first complete your graduation first

to apply for ima your marks in 12th will not be considered the only thing that will be considered is graduation in any stream form a recognized university. to join ima you have to apply for upsc cds exam. cds stands for combined defense services
for IMA(Indian Military Academy)you have to pass Graduation from a recognized university.
your age should be between 19-24 years .

OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
during your final year you can apply for this exam.

there is no percentage bar for appearing in a UPSC exam so don't worry you are eligible for various UPSC exams.

eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:
candidate should have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
candidates appearing in final year can also apply for the upsc exam.
age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

THESE (NDA & CDS) CONDUCTS UPSC TWICE IN A YEAR

NDA=16.5-19 YEARS,12TH PASSED,SHOULD BE A UNMARRIED MALE ONLY

CDS=19-24 YEARS,DEGREE HOLDER,UNMARRIED MALE OR FEMALE

BY WRITING THIS EXAM YOU CAN JOIN EITHER ARMY OR NAVY OR AIR FORCE AS AN OFFICER

-For seeking admission in the Indian Military Academy,you must appear for the CDS Exams and pass them successfully.
-The Minimum Educational Qualification to appear for the CDS Exams,is holding a Degree of Graduation,or Equivalent from an UGC recognized University,or be a final year student in the same.
-Only the pass percentage in your graduation is enough.
-As you have completed your +2,and not your graduation,you are not eligible to appear for the CDS Exams as of now.

To apply in IMA, you have to apply for CDS which is conducted by UPSC every year. The qualification for IMA is to pass the Bachelors degree in any recognized university. So don't worry about the percentage of 12th examination. Best of Luck

First of all you would be required to complete your graduation.

You can give CDS exam to get in IMA

If you have a technical degree like B.Tech or B.E. you can also try through TGC.

You can also try for SSC(Short Service Commission) entries.

Eligibility Criteria for I.M.A in CDS :-

Age should be between 19 years and 24 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Graduation in any desire subject from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

Basic eligibility required for NDA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.
- Age : From 19 Years to 24 years. Engineer graduates 20 to 27 years
- Degree. BA, B.Sc or B.Tech/BE

If you want to apply for the CDS then the required qualification for this job is a bachelor degree from a recognized university. through CDS you can go for

IMA = Indian military academy
OTA = officer training academy
NA = naval academy

the age limit for CDS is 19 to 24 years
candidate should be unmarried

IMA i.e Indian Military Academy. IMA is one of the defence academy among other & to join IMA, you have to appear in CDS examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year generally as CDS(I) & CDS(II).
