Eligibility criteria-
1. Educational qualification-
U shld complete ur postgraduate degree with any discipline for both JRF or Lecturer exam. Min. percentage for net exam is 55%.
2. Age limit-
For lecturer, min. age is 21 and in max. there is no limit. For JRF age limit is 21-28 years, there are relaxations for obc, sc/st.
Attempts are unlimited in both.

what is net exam or national eligibility exam ?


this test is conducted every year. It is conducted to determine eligibility of entrants for lectureship and award foe junior research fellowship . The candidate can appear for both at the same time.

The real aim of conducting net is ensure that only the qualified professional with minimum standares are getting into research and teaching profession.

the national educational testing bureau of university grants commission conduct national eligibility test (net). It is conducted for determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of junior research fellowship for indian nationals in order to ensure the minimum standards for the entrants in humanities, social science , forensic science, computer science etc.

The eligibility criteria for the NET exam is Master's Degree. This is a Research Programme that in which field you got Master's Degree Certificate.

You can fill up the form online at www.ugc.ac.in

Inside HE section you can find the different Universities in which you will get the job after passing NET exam.
