According to statement you can apply for IPS(Indian Police services)Post following undermentioned Guidelines:-

1.Must be a Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University in any discipline/stream.

2.Must be Within ...General: 21-30 years, OBC: 21-33 years, S/c S/T: 21-35 years, PWD: 21-40 years.

3.Nationality: Indian.

If you have the above qualities you can proceed for IPS post.

I.P.S --- INDIAN POLICE SERVICE


You can definitely APPLY for the I.P.S post

So for that you must have a minimum of GRADUATION from a recognized university

And the STREAM may be of any one

Final year candidates ... awaiting for the results are also eligible to apply for the exam


You must give the C.S.A.T exam to become I.P.S. officer


C.S.A.T -- CIVIL SERVICES APTITUDE TEST


The minimum age must be " 21 " years

Maximum age is allowed up to " 30 " years

Eligibility for IPS examination:-

-You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline.

-Your age should between 21 to 30 years.

-Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination

-There is no need to scored any minimum percentage in graduation, If you have passed graduate degree, then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

for being a police officer you will have to appear in CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION,which is organised by UPSC every year,,

There are two phases of exam i.e. pre and mains,,,and followed by interview.

There is fixed attempts for candidates belonging to gen and OBC category .

For Gen-4 attempts

For OBC-7 attempts

For SC/ST-no limit.

There is a fixed eligibility criteria which is decided by UPSC board and if you contains those eligibility then you can apply for UPSC - IPS - Indian Police Service post :

Educational Qualification : If you have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized university then you are eligible according to educational qualification.

Age Limit : If your age is between 21-30 years then you are eligible in age and if you belongs to reserved category then you may get upper age relaxation in age as per government standards which would be about 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Physical Standards :

Hight - Male - 165 cm for general candidates and 160 for reserved category candidates

Hight - Female - 150 cm and 145 for reserved category candidates

Chest - Male - Minimum 84 cm and expansion of minimum 5 cm

Chest Female - Minimum 79 cm and expansion of minimum 5 cm

Eye Sight : 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye and 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for worst eye and near vision j1 for good eye and j2 for worst eye

Ladies should not be pregnant during the medical and physical standards test

Nasal : Candidate should not stammer while speaking

So Finally if you have above mentioned qualification then you can apply for this exam.

buddy if my opinion then you should have to passed graduate first then you can be eligible for IPS POST.

after complete graduate you can apply for IPS EXAM.

SEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

you must be passed graduate from te recognized university.

age should be 21 to 30 years.

are relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.

you must be indian.

You can apply for this exam after completed the graduation in any discipline subjects.Age for this exam ,general category candidates age :21 - 30 years.OBC category candidates :21-33 years.SC category candidates : 21 -35 years.Minimum height for this post - 165 cm.You can fill application form through upsc official website.Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.
Two stages of IPS Exam.
First is Prelims Exam and second is Main exam.
After clear both stage candidates call for interview test.
