You can apply for the NDA examination online at www.upsconline.nic.in. The Online Applications can be filled upto 30th January 2012 till 11.59 PM i.e. IN JANUARY MONTH OF EVERY YEAR YOU HAVE TO FILL UP THE FORM.

ALSO, YOU CAN GO TO YOUR NEAR POST OFFICE AND BUY THE UPSC-NDA FORM.

YOU should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers IF YOU GIVE in the Objective Type Question Papers.

dear if want to apply NDA exams and you have passed 12th from recognized board then you can apply NDA 2013 n now UPSC already announced this exam on their site just go www.upsc.gov.in n fill application online n one thing more if your age above 19 yrs. that condition you are not eligible for NDA exam.

The notification for NDA & NA Exam is released in month of December/January and May/June in employment newspaper and on the official website mentioned below.

NDA & NA is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.

Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.

Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.

How to apply?

You can apply online through the official website of NDA.

For offline mode you can go to nearest postoffice and can get the application form there.

NDA exam is held twice every year i.e, NDA I & NDA II.

The exam is conducted by UPSC.

The Notification for NDA I is going to be announced in the month of December and exam would be held in April.

The Notification for NDA is usually announced in the month of May and exam is held in the month of august.

For NDA you need to fulfill some Eligibility norms such as:-

you should have done your 10+2 with PCM as compulsory subjects.

Appearing students can also give the exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appear for the exam.

Basic eligibility required for NDA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.
- Age : From 19 Years to 24 years. Engineer graduates 20 to 27 years
- Degree. BA, B.Sc or B.Tech/BE

Physical standard required are:

1. The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease
2. The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms. For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
3. There should be no disease of bones and joints of the body.
4. The hearing should be normal
5. A male candidate should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eye with or without glasses. For women candidates the minimum acceptable visual acuity are Distant Vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18.
6. A candidate should be able to recognize red and green colors

for joining NDA the candidate have to appear for the CDS exam which include the exam for army, navy, and air force.

candidate should be +2 pass from the recognized board
candidate should be an Indian
candidate should be physically fit and healthy
candidate does not have any joint disease
candidates weight and height should be according to the rues of defense

You can apply for the NDA examination online at www.upsconline.nic.in. The Online Applications can be filled upto 30th January 2012 till 11.59 PM i.e. IN JANUARY MONTH OF EVERY YEAR YOU HAVE TO FILL UP THE FORM.

ALSO, YOU CAN GO TO YOUR NEAR POST OFFICE AND BUY THE UPSC-NDA FORM.

YOU should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers IF YOU GIVE in the Objective Type Question Papers.

N.D.A. stands for National defense academy.

How to apply?

* Candidates can apply through offline as well as online.
* For applying online visit the official website of U.P.S.C.
* All the information to fill up the form is available in the website.
* For offline mode candidates can purchase the form at the cost of Rs.20/-.
* The forms are available in the designated head post offices.
* This form can be made use of only once for one examination.
* After filling up the form send it to Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi.

When to apply??

- Candidate must have completed +2 with science stream in order to apply for all wings of defense i.e. Army, Air force, Navy wing.
- Candidates who have only completed +2 with any stream can apply for Army wing only.
- The candidate must have attained the age of 16.5 years & must not attained the age of 19 years.
- Candidate must be an unmarried male candidate.
- You must be free from serious diseases.
- You must not be any bone & joint disease.
- You must not have mental breakdown or fits.
- After full inspiration the minimum chest expansion is 5 c.m.
- Minimum acceptable height required is 157.5 c.m. But it is 162.5 c.m in case of Air Force.
- You must have well developed chest.
- Your chest must be fully expanded & not less than 81 c.m.
