    Hello Friend,

Your choices belong to different domains. IAS exam requires you to not only be aware about things but also know their meaning, their impact on an individual, a family, a community, a society, a state, a nation and the world. Whereas the bank and other clerical exams have their syllabus well defined, UPSC syllabus is open-ended. You have to different approach for the two types of exams. Anyone who have cracked bank exam is not guaranteed to crack UPSC exam as well and vice-versa.

Your preparation for PO and clerical exam will certainly help you in IAS prelims CSAT exam but the help will be limited to that point only. Your journey from there will only depend on your exclusive preparation for IAS exam. And, IAS exam preparation is more rigorous, more analytical. You need to really work hard for IAS exam. In short, hard work is the key to be successful.

    Thanks,
