NDA means National Defence Academy which exam conducted by UPSC every year

Eligibility Criteria for NDA :

Age Limits:

Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years

Educational Qualification:

For Army Wing of NDA : 12th pass from any recognized board

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA : 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics

Candidate must be unmarried

Physical Standard:

Minimum Height 157.5 cms and 162.5 cms for Air force

Leg Length : Minimum 99.00 cms and Maximum 120.00 cms

Sitting Height : Minimum 81.50 cms. Maximum 96.00 cms.

Chest : 81 cms and 5 cms expansions

Eye sight : Distant Vision 6/6 in better and 6/9 in worse

Scheme of Examination:

1. Mathematics marks 300
2. General Ability Test marks 600

Total marks 900

NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Marital Status

Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.

Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.

The eligible criteria for NDA exam
The age limit for nda is 16 �-19
Qualification
12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent.
� Candidates appearing at the 12th Class Examination are also eligible to compete. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the 12th Class Examination by a date to be specified in the Commission�s Notice for the Examination.

Yes you are eligible for the NDA Exam After passing the 12th standard.NDA stands for Nation Defense Academy it is one of the Defense Academy.This Academy exam is conducted by Union public Service Commission and for twice Per year.(NDA-1 & NDA-II).

UPSC conduct the NDA(National defence Academy) exam for the purpose of recruitment of eligible candidates for the posts of Navy, Air Force, Military.
NDA is considered one of the prestigious exam of INDIA.
NDA exam is conducted two times every year. These Exams are called NDA-I and NDA-II.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. 12th or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized board or university.
2. Age Limit: 16.5 years to 19 years.

through you can apply for any of the three armed forces namely INDIAN ARM,INDIAN AIR FORCE, INDIAN NAVY.
there is no percentage bar for its applicants .

for this year the exam is going to be held on 5 march ( NDA I)and 19 august( NDA II)

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted Twice in a year : NDA (I) and NDA (II).

To apply for this examination you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination. If you have completed your 12Th examination and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years then you can appeared for this examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC for these 3 wings :

~~ Army Wings
~~ Naval Wings
~~ Air Force Wings

For Army wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline from a recognised Board.

For Naval and Air Force Wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

There is No Upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

The selection are based on Written test, Personality test and Medical test. Those who cracked all these stages are eligible for Training.

Examination Pattern :

For this year NDA (I) Examination Notification was already declared and the last date of apply for this examination was already Over. The Examination will be held soon on this Month i.e on 15/April/2012.

To apply for this examination, you have to fulfill these Requirements :

• You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease.
• The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air-Force).
• Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms
• You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses.
• Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism.
