Two optional subjects are compulsory for ias exam................
That subjects are you can select which you know better...
Some more detials of ias is given below

eligibilty;-

the person must be graduate
tthe person must be indian citizen
age limit is 21 to 30 years

age relaxiation is
obc-3 years
sc/st-5 years
physical handicaped-10 years

civil service exam pattern is
1.prelims
2.mains
3.interview

prelims(objective);-
general studies-paper1
aptitude-paper2

mains(subjective);-
general studies-paper-1and 2
optional subject-1 and 2 papers
optional subject-1 and 2 papers
