The notification was originally scheduled to come out on 2 Feb' 2013 but now it has been postponed for unknown duration. Most probably, it would be out in the month of Feb itself. Also, it is difficult to say anything about the pattern change for 2013. But, it is for sure that there would not be any pattern change for prelims as it has been changed recently. Only change can occur in mains pattern and only notification can make it clear. Every other document or article would be merely speculative.

There is no change in the preliminary exam pattern.

Civil service exam notification:

Date of notification in the month of February-2013

examination date is 19/05/2013

examination date 08/11/2013

the age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for the unreserved category
The age relaxation for the unreserved category.
3 years for obc and 5 years for sc/st category
