you are eligible for IAS exam after mechanical engineering .THIS exam is conducted by UPSC .

your age should be between 21-30 years.

you must be citizen of India.

IAS exam consist;-

Civil services preliminary exam

Civil service mains exam

Interview

To become IAS officer, you have to clear all these three stages.

to apply for civil services you should satisfy the following conditions
1.the candidate should possess a degree
2.he should be between 21 to 30 yrs
