Yes friend you are eligible to apply for the Civil Service exam after completing LLB. After LLB you can apply for the Civil Service exam. To apply for the Civil Service exam your age should be 21 to 30 years Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates You must be the citizen of India. You will be eligible for the exam after you complete your graduation or you can also apply for it in the final year of your graduation and in order to prepare for the exam first of all you need to check the syllabus for it and then you can check the parts where you need more preparation. Some basic tips are; 1.Read The Hindu newspaper daily . 2.Read good competitive magazines . 3.Study ncert books from class 6th till 10th. 4.Prepare your aptitude. 5.Make notes for important topics. Also study DAILY for 5-6 hrs and never skip your studies. Also try to solve the last years question papers and check where you lack.

As per the lattest pattern civil. you really need 2 YEARS(for normal man) to work upon.BUT!!! LET ME SAY TO YOU THAT THE STUDY PATTERN AND TIME MUST BE ADJUSTED BY YOU ONLY No others can tell you because only you know the capacity of your study circuit but preparation must tough enough to stand with the competition that is to challenge you TUNE YOURSELF TO RANGE AGAINST INDIA'S MOST TOUGHEST EXAM
