    hey man ,
    if you have the talent and confidence to make it into ies , then i would suggest dedicate your time for it , its a job that can make you leap very much ahead in life. and as you said if you didnt make it into ies still you would be able to crack many other exams too like the ones of state goverment and there are many psu"s as well

    Hello,

    There are no jobs available on the basis of lower ranks in IES exam. These are make-or-break exams. So, before getting a leap into these exams, one is to very clear about this. If one can take risk or if one is very confident that s/he will clear the exam, then only one should take a plunge. Even then I would say that IES job is not guaranteed even you have topped all throughout your academics. If you have any doubt about getting success in IES exam, my suggestion would be to first take a job somewhere else as per your qualifications and then prepare for IES exam while being in the job.

    Plz guide... If someone prepare for IES with full dedication and Hardwork... Unfortunately He fails to get top 150 rank.. Because there are only 150-200 jobs for one engineering branch... Or after interview if he rejected by interviewer what is his future ?
    Are there some government jobs for lower ranks ? Plz guide thanx
