Hi Friend,The disability due to accident will not affect in the Prilims exam and Mains exam or Interview.But when you have to go under medical test you have to face problem.You have plates into you legs, so you are not eligible for medical test.In IPS exam fitness is required and you are not physically fit for IPS training.So you can try other UPSC exam that does not have physical training.I hope you will understand.All The Best

How far does the bike accident affect me to become an IPS officer? my age is 23 & i'm yet to complete my graduation..i had a bike accident in this march..got a plate inside my right leg bone which is goin to be out by this coming september..please let me know can i go through to my dream of becoming an ips officer??
