    To b eligible for IPS exam you have passed your graduation from recognized university and your marks are not counted as such..

    And if you are not interested in maths then you need to be little interested because little calculations are needed..

    dear aspirant,

    you can become an IPS officer through UPSC Civil Services Exam. The Exam is conducted by UPSC every year.
    Yes, you can apply for Civil Services Exam after completing degree in commerce with less percentage. because according to UPSC eligibility Criteria for Civil Services candidates must have graduation degree with any percentage. So you need not to worry about percentage. and do hard work for preparation for Civil Services Exam.


    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:


    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



    Limit Number Of Attempts:

    >>General category: 4 attempts

    >>OBC category: 7 attempts

    >>SC/ST category: No Limit




    Important dates of Civil Services exam in 2013:


    CSAT(Prelims):

    date of Notification:05.03.2013

    last date of receipt of application:04.04.2013

    date of exam:26.05.2013



    Mains:

    In order to apply for this exam the candidates have to complete at least Graduatiopn from the recognized college. In any discipline. There is now cutt of marks in the Graduation for the IAS exam so if you clear Graduation withouit any Back log then you can apply for the exam

    If you eligible for the exam then want to apply for the exam then before you have to full fill all the requirements of the IAS exam. The all the Information you will get it in the employment news papers and also daily leading news Papers.

    Education Requirement
    The candidates have to clear graduation from the recognized college in any discipline . the Final Year candidates can also apply for the exam.

    Age Limit
    The candidates must have minimum age limit of 21 years. The maximum age limit is different for the indifferent categories
    GM � 30 years
    SC/ST � 35 years
    Physically Handicapped � 40 years

    The candidates can attempts for the exam
    * GM candidates � 4 times
    * OBC candidates � 7 times
    * Physically handicapped � 7 times
    * SC/ST � Unlimited

    This year the exam is already over on the May 19 , 2013 so you can not apply for this year exam so try for the next.

    The candidates are selected on the basis of the written exam and also Interview. So the candidates have to first appear for the written exam after clearing this written exam called for the remaining tests.
