To apply for Indian Engineering Service, you should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering in any one of the Civil or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering or

Should have passed graduate membership examination of the institute of Electronics and Telecommunication India

Your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and upper age relaxation can only be claimed by reserved category candidates that is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Dear if you have completed your bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering then you are not eligible for this examination because UPSC board requires different streams to be eligible for but you may apply for following examinations under UPSC board and may make your career well through these exams and better than IES

If you choose Indian Forest Service then there is a broad and brighter career in that stream and you may also go to civil service because this will be the higher for you than all other posts but preparation is must for every examination and you may not qualify any UPSC examination without preparing for this examination

I have attached some official notification of exams please download and get all details about your career fields

    All the best
