Upsc is conducting the exams for the IAS And Ips

Upsc is conducting the civil services exam

IAS Stands for the Indian Administrative Services

IPS Stands for the Indian Police Service

And upsc is also conducting the cse exam once in a year

And they are also conducting the C.D.S Exam

CDS tands for the Common defence services exam

For the IMA Stands for the Indian Military service

And upsc is conducting the exam twice in a year

And for the both the exams the candidate should

be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

And as The cse exam is already conducted so you can

Apply for the exam next years same with Ima exam

ima = indian military academy

ips = indian police service

ias = indian administration services


all the three exams are conducted by the upsc.

Ips and ias both exams comes under the category of civil service.

IMA stands for Indian Military Academy

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service


To join IMA, you need to appear in Combined Defence Service Examination(CDSE) conducted by UPSC twice in a year as CD-I CDS-II.

To join IPS & IAS, you need to appear in Civil Service Examination(CSE) conducted by UPSC one in a year.


Eligibility criteria for CDSE(IMA):
-----------------------------------

~~ You should be Graduate in any stream from recognized university.

~~ You are eligible for CDSE if perusing final year of Graduation course.

~~ To join IMA, your age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

~~ You should be Unmarried, Male & citizen of India.

I.M.A. Means INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY.
To Go for I.M.A. you have to apply for C.D.S.E. examination.
This examination is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year.

Last Date of receipt of application form:- 02.07.2012
Date of examination:- 16.09.2012

I.P.S. means Indian police service
I.A.S. means Indian Administrative Service.
Both these exams come under Civil Service Examination.

The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:

Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.

Date of Notification: 4 Feb 2012 Approx February Month.

Date of Examination:

For Prelims 20 May 2012 Approx May month.

For Mains 5 October 2012 Approx October Month.

IMA EXAM IS HELD AS CDS EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY UPSC.

THE EXPECTED MONTH OF FILLING APPLICATION FORM IS NOVEMBER.
