Are medical standards of IPS recruitment similar to Indian Army recruitment's? I was declared as unfit Indian Army due to an Ectopic kidney (L4-L5). Will UPSC consider me for IPS post? i have an ectopic kidney so am i elegible for an IPS? I have selected for the Indian army in the officers cadre but was declared unfit due to an ectopic kidney which lying at the L4-L5 level. so i just want to know, are the the medical standards same for the IPS too ............ is ectopic kidney considers unfit in the IPS?
