Yes, civil engineers are eligible for civil services examination.

Every candidate can apply for civil services examination which has passed there graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

For civil services examination no percentage is required if candidate just have passing marks in graduation are eligible for civil services examination.

yes u are eligible . the eligible education qualifications is :any degree with recognized Indian universitys only.

candidate must be as indian

general candidates only 4 times atemt

obc-7 times attemt

sc/st candidates there is no limit.but it depend on age(general age limit 21-30 years for sc/st candidates 5 years relaxation so upto 35 years they are eligible to apply.)

You can definitely apply for the civil services examination after the completion of civil engineering.
As it is clearly mentioned into the notification that a graduate in any discipline can apply for the civil servicws examination.
These are the requirements for the civil services exam:
-graduation in any discipline.
-age should be 21 to 30 years.
-for sc/st 21 to 35 years.
-for OBC 21 to 33 years.
-civil services examination includes the following written tests:
1)CSAT.
2)MAINS.
CSAT includes 2 papers paper1 general studies 200 marks, and paper2 general studies 200 marks. So the total marks will be 400 marks.
MAINS EXAMINATION includes paper2 english qualifying paper 300 marks, paper3 essay 200 marks. Paper 4 and 5 general studies 300 marks each so the total 600 marks. Paper 6,7,8 and 9 any two subjects 300 marks for each paper so total 1200 marks.
Total marks of the examination will be 2000.
You can also apply for the engineering services examination.
As the age limit is same as civil services exam.
You can apply for civil engineer post.

According to question Indian Civil Engineering course is obviously a graduate course so as per UPSC eligibility a Graduate is eligible for the CIVIL Services. Civil Services entrance exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility:

1.A graduate from a recognized University/Institution in any discipline can appear Civil Services.

2.The age for GEN: 21-30 years,OBC: 21-33 years,S/C S/T.21-35 years.PWD:21-40 years.

3.Nationality: Indian.

4.Attempts; General: 4 OBC: 7 S/C S/T & PWD: 10 years.

why not civil engineers are also eligible for the the civil services examination, because there are no any requirement of any particular

course or any particular degree,

all the graduates are eligible for the civil services examination.

Whether the candidate is a b.tech graduate or b.sc graduate

it does not matter the thing matter is that the candidate

must be pass in the degree of the graduation.

Qualification Required for the exam :

-The candidate must be pass in the graduation degree

-The final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

If you have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age is between 21-30 years then you can apply for Civil Services Exam 2013 and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

YES THE CIVIL ENGINEERS ARE VERY MUCH APPLICABLE FOR CIVIL SERVICES.

There are many civil services among which other than Indian Economic Services ,you are applicable in every services.

The qualification required by the civil services is graduation(minimum) and you are a graduate,so you are applicable.
