Main Examination - Seven papers will be conducted in conventional type pattern where paper I based on Essay and English comprehension for 300 marks, Paper II, III, IV and V based on General Studies and next two papers are totally depended on the selected optional subject from the list of optional subjects provided by the board and all optional subjects are listed below where no bar or restriction to choose any subject for main examination means you can select any optional subject for Paper VI and VII from the list

    >> Agriculture
    >> Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
    >> Anthropology
    >> Botany
    >> Chemistry
    >> Civil Engineering
    >> Commerce and Accountancy
    >> Economics
    >> Electrical Engineering
    >> Geography
    >> Geology
    >> History
    >> Law
    >> Management
    >> Mathematics
    >> Mechanical Engineering
    >> Medical Science
    >> Philosophy
    >> Physics
    >> Political Science & International Relations
    >> Psychology
    >> Public Administration
    >> Sociology
    >> Statistics
    >> Zoology

You can see that any subject related to computer science is not in the list but you are already interested in Physics or Chemistry to select as your optional subject for main examination and remember that only one subject will be selected and both papers will be based on that subject so you are interested in physics of chemistry so first you should decide it in yourself that in which subject you are too strong and if someone try to test you for both subjects then in which subject you can score good marks and study easily without any problem and everything depends on you so the best way to decide is that you download some previous years question papers for Physics and Chemistry Subjects (Main Exam) and read each paper carefully then take a right decision for your career that which subject will be better for you to score good marks in main exam

You can also decide on the basis of official syllabus that is mentioned in attached notification, you can read complete syllabus and shortlist anyone which could help you in main exam so toughness and easiness of any subject can not be compared and decided just like a piece of cake so you have to test yourself for better and take right one

You are interested in both subject so finding anyone is difficult but you have to do it and also see the demand of preparation of that subject because sometimes physics may be easy and sometimes chemistry but your decision will be finalized after getting these papers

    All the best
