SCRA exam is conducted in the month of January.
The notification of SCRA exam is released generally in the month of October-November.

Like in 2013,SCRA was conducted on 20/1/2013.While notifications was released in the month of October on 13/10/2012.

dear aspirant,

SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC for the post in Railways. Acronym SCRA is "Special Class Railways Apprentices" .

For SCRA your age must be within 17 years to 21 years on 1 January of the year of exam. There is also applicable Relaxation in upper age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
for SCRA you need 12th with Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry from recognized board or college or equivalent with first or second division. candidates pursuing in 12th are also eligible to apply for the exam.

This year SCRA exam is already been conducted on 20 January 2013. and UPSC has yet not released the notification for 2014 SCRA exam. generally UPSC release the notification for SCRA exam in October month of every year. you can check Notification after released by UPSC in top news papers and UPSC'S official site.
