Re: What are the required percentages throughout academics to be eligible for IPS exam? hello dear friend there is no any percentage require for ips exam . only particular criteria is that you complete your graduation with recognized university or board . so you don't worry about your percentage . ips - Indian police service eligibility criteria *** graduate with recognized university /board *** age limit is 21-30 years for gen *** age relaxation is only for reserve category 35 year for st/sc 33 year for obc *** in this exam attempts are limited 4 attempts for gen. 7 attempts for o. b. c . no any boundation for s t/s c *** three steps are in this exam first is preliminary second is mains third is interview if you pass in three steps of exam then you are selected in exam *** nationality is only Indian you can visit this web site http://www.upsconline.com and ips exam is conducted by upsc good luck........................

Dear friend, let me clear you once thing that there is no any special requirement of percentage to become an IPS officer, if you just have the following qualities and fit in the following criteria then you will be called as eligible candidate . education :- candidate must be a graduate and the university in which he perusing degree must be govt. recognized . Nationality:- the candidate must hold the citizenship of India.. age required:-(according to category) * for general category:- 21 to 3 years. * for obc category:21-33 years. * for sc/st category:- 21-35 years. if you are an ex-service man or physically handicapped persons than no problem you will get an age relaxation of 5 years and 10 years respectively. and yes one thing you should always keep in your mind that there is a restriction of no. of attempts before you apply for the same . No f attempts allowed:- 1. for general category: 4 attempts. 2. for obc category:- 7 attempts. 3. for sc/st category: no limit/restriction. for further details about the examination visit:-http://www.upsc.gov.in so don't worry you will be eligible if satisfying the all the criteria described above. good luck @

For IPS exam:- 1)-To become an IPS you must be graduated from any recognised university. 2)-No percentage is required only graduation is required to appear in IPS exam. Age limit is different for different caste candidates:- 1)- for general candidates age limit is 21-30. 2)- for OBC candidates age limit is 21-33. 3)- for sc,st candidates age limit is 21-35. Re: What are the required percentages throughout academics to be eligible for IPS exam? hi there is no such kind of criteria which is asked by the upsc to appear in the IAS exam. for giving the IAS exam, you need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university and your age should be not less than 21 years. however, the maximum age is different as per the category of a candidate. the maximum age for giving the IAS exam for a general category student is 30 years whereas the maximum age for giving the exam for an obc candidate is 33 years and for sc/st candidate, it is 35 years. gud luck

This exam requires a graduation degree from a recognized university. IPS exam requires;- 10th standard with pass marks 12th standard with mass marks in any stream And a graduation degree from a recognized any stream with pass marks. There is no percentage requirement. >>Your age should be between 21-30 years. >>Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates. Number of attempts;- 4 times for General, 7 times for OBC, There is no limit for SC/ST category IPS exam consist three stages;- Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies of 300 marks each. Mains exam consist General studies, English,Choosing Language papers and optional subjects papers. This year Mains exam is conducted at 1 Aug 2013. All the best......................
Re: What are the required percentages throughout academics to be eligible for IPS exam? hi dear, for IPS post there is no requisite criteria for percentage. for IPS you just need to have graduation degree in any discipline with any percentage from recognized college or university. so don't worry about percentage and keep preparing for the exam. for IPS you have to write Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year. In Civil Services exam there is large competition. So you need to work hard to get top rank. Civil Services exam has three phases: 1. Prelims(CSAT) 2. Mains 3. Interview. you are should be within 21 to 30 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age for OBC candidates upto 3 years and for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years. you have to apply for the exam online on following link: http://upsconline.nic.in/ Good Luck......
Re: What are the required percentages throughout academics to be eligible for IPS exam? hi percentage does not guarantee any position..for IPS officer you has to qualify the upsc entrance exam name =civil service exam. as per civil service exam eligibility,candidate must be a graduate or post graduate or degree final in any discipline % needed=no bar though the % is not mentioned it odes not mean you can pass with less marks.try to score with good percentage say 55% minimum to com petite with other.in this environment there is tough compitition among one another.so you also had to try hard to got the seat .right medically fit and fine age limit=minimum age 21 years and maximum age limit=30 year prepare well and write well good luck thank you

If you have passed the graduation from a recognized university then you are eligible for the IPS exam. IPS exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year. The age limit for general category is 21-30 years, for OBC is 21-33 years & for SC/ST is 21-35 years. You can attempts IPS exam 4 times if you belongs to general category and 7 times for OBC & no lint for the SC/ST candidates. thank you. Good luck.

For that you give civil services examination which is conducts by Union Pblic Service Commission once in every year. for civil services examination No percentage barrier, If candidate just has passing marks in graduation are also eligible. It is compulsory that candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation. Candidate must be under 21-30 years. 3 years age relaxation for BC candidate and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate. Good Luck

Dear friend , first of all i advised you to not believe on rumors and try to find out the truth, there are no any requirements in civil services examination , the only educational requirements is that you must be a graduate with a ugc recognized university, and one another qualification required for the same is that you must be an Indian. it seems that you are with a little knowledge about the examination, so at first you should acquire the full information regarding the examination; here I'm sharing some information about the examination , the other requirements for the examination are as under. AGE :- 1. for general category 21-30 years. 2. for obc category 21-33 yrs. 3. for sc/st category 21-*35 yrs. No. of attempts allowed:- 1. for general category:- 4 att. 2. for obc category:- 7 att. 3.for sc/st category:- No restriction. there are three stages of examination and all the stages must be cleared for passing the examination . stages:- 1. Prelims examination (objective) 2. Mains examination ( Mains examination ) 3. Interview.(vocal) so you just concentrate on completing the graduation with good preparation and then you should apply for the civil services examination . Good luck.....
