Right graduation course after 12th to transcend towards Civil Services (IPS/IAS).

What to do after 12 std JEE to become IAS / IPS OFFICER ?
Hello , i am currently 11std pcm science student and will be going for jee main after 12 std . i really am very interested in going for ias / ips exams . i know all the details and criteria for the exams . i am just confused about should i give JEE in future , or should i take something else after 12 for graduation which will help me to go in the particular field mentioned above . or even if i give jee and clear it so can i still give ias /ips exam . i have heard iit takes max 4 yrs of time . so will it be a waste of time ?? please helpp me . tell me which graduation should i take after my 12 std . ?? and also how this Jee thing works for ias and what to do if i wont be able to clear it ? please help me ?
