How come ppl with MSc in Geological Sciences can not apply for Jr. Hydrogeologist and Asst. Hydrogeologist...? r they going to face problems in future if they select "MSc in Geology, Appl. Geology and Marine Geology" during Part-I registration???

UPSC organizes the exam for the geologist every year.

This exam is conducted at national level.


Exam pattern for Geologist exam

Written test( 600 marks)

General English( 200 marks) ( 2 hours)

Geologist paper I (100 marks) (3 hours)

Geologist paper II (100 marks) (3 hours)

Geologist paper III (100 marks) (3 hours)

Geologist paper IV (100 marks) (3 hours)


Interview ( 200 marks)

After qualifying written exam you will be called for Interview.
