A person can apply for the CDS examination when he or she completed the graduation in any discipline from a recognised university so if you like to apply for the CDS then you need to to fulfill the criteria for the same as follows-
CDS stands for the combined defence services examination.
If you are a graduate in any discipline then you can apply for the indian army.
If you are a graduate in physics and mathematics then you need to apply for air force and navy both.
All you need to see the age criteria -
19 to 25 years of age candidates are eligible for the officers training academy.
19 to 24 years of age candidates can apply for the indian millitary academy.
19 to 23 years age can apply for the air force academy.
19 to 22 years of age candidates can apply for the indian naval academy.
Selection procedure for the examination is as follows-
Written test.
SSB interview.
Medical examination.
If you want to apply then just go to www.upsconline.gov.in and open the application form for the CDS examination and you can apply online for the same.
All you need is a scanned copy of the photo and the signature.
You can also pay online for the same by online banking or debit or credit card.
