Hi friend,

Well mine friend, as per norms of UPSC there's no such conditons..

Basically it depends upon The one who is taking interview..

But remember that there's no such condition..

So, i will suggest you to prepare for good English as it will be required for Interview..

And in Interview,, What it matters is how you present yourselves to the Interview and ,etc

SO, Join a course of Communicative English Course which may help you in Interview..

And then try to give interview to a dummy person to overcome obstacles..

For UPSC Civil Services exams there is a list of 18 Indian Languages form

which one can choose any one language to write exam and appear for interviews.

Candidate can write exam and give interview either in English/Hindi/one of the Indian languages choosen

by him/her.

If your native language is included in the list of 18 Indian lanuages you can appear for UPSC Civil services

interview in it.
