National Defence Academy(NDA) examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) twice in Every year.

AGE LIMIT:

For NDA I

Minimum Age- 16.5 years as on 1st January 2014.

Maximum Age- 19 years as on 1st January 2014.

For NDA II

Minimum Age- 16.5 years as on 1st July 2014.

Maximum Age- 19 years as on 1st July 2014.

OTHER QUALIFICATION FOR NDA:

-> Applicant have to pass Class XII or Senior Secondary examination form recognized board.

-> In order to apply for Indian Air Force or Indian Navy Physics,Chemistry Mathematics in 10+2 is necessary.

-> Citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for NDA. Tibetan refugee who came India permanently before 1st January 1962 are eligible for NDA.

-> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA.

-> Candidate have to Physically Fit.

Few lines regarding NDA and eligibility:-

1.NDA(National Defence Academy)entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the recruitment in Indian defence for Army/Navy/Airforce wings.

1.A 12th standard from the recognized University/board can write NDA entrance exam.

3.Science background with PCM subjects can do NDA and can join in any wings of Indian defence as per their choice/interests.

4.Arts/commerce background students can do NDA and can join only in "ARMY WING".

5.The age of the NDA candidate must be within " 16 1/2 years to 19 years".

5.An Indian male can write NDA entrance examination.

For giving this examination, you need to follow up the following eligibility criteria
Only male candidates are applicable.
You should be a 12th class passed/appeared
The age of the candidate should not be less than 16.5 and it should not be more than 19 years.

dear, NDA exam is conducted for Air Force, Navy and Army.

for Air Force and navy you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent and for Army you need 12th in any discipline from recognized board or College . you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in 12th.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. The exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year named NDA-I and NDA-II. The exam is conducted for only male candidates.

for NDA your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years. there is no relaxation for any category.

There is no limit of Number of Attempts in NDA. Within age limit you can apply any number of times.
