You can get the job in Indian army through UPSC exam.

There are two ways to go in Indian army

NDA

CDS


Required qualification for NDA

You must have Intermediate qualified from recognized board

You must be in age of 16.5 to 19 years.

You must be Indian.

You should be unmarried

Only male candidates can apply for this.


Required Qualification for CDS

You must have bachelor degree in any branch from recognized university or its equivalent.

Age should be 19 to 24 years

You must be Indian.

Both male and female candidates can apply for this exam.


NDA and CDS exam conducted twice in a year.

NDA(national defense academy)

Eligibility criteria for NDA:
candidate must be an indian male.
candidate must have passed intermediates from recognized board or university with mathematics,physics and english.
age of candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years.

for CDS
Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:

1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
3. age limit for the upsc exams is 19 to 24 years.
4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

Nice to see that join in Indian Army through Union Public Service Commission but you have not mentioned your qualification it is difficult to provide the exact information about the Indian Army examination .

If you have a completed Intermediate then you can appear for NDA (National Defence Academy) Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year and this examination will be held in the month of April and August .

The application forms for the April Examination shall be available in the month of December or January in the official website and for the same of August Examination shall be available in the month of May or June in the official website .

You must have fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for National Defence Academy Examination (NDA) . The Eligibility Criteria means Physical Standards , Education Qualification , Age limits , Sex and Martial Status ... etc .

## The Aspirant age should be between 16.5 - 19 years for joining the Army wing through National Defence Academy Examination .

## The Aspirant must have a completed their minimum education qualification of intermediate from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification .

## The Aspirant must be Unmarried male candidates and then only eligible to apply for Army wings through National Defence Academy Examination .

The Exam pattern and syllabus for the examination follows ::

>> General ability (Physics , Chemistry , History , Current Events )
>> Mathematics ( 11th and 12th Mathematics )

The selection process for this examination follows ::

>> Written Examination
>> SSB Interview
>> Medical Test and Physical Test

If you have a completed graduate degree or post degree then you can appear for Combined Defence Service Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as called CDS I and CDS II .

Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted for recruitment of Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy and Officer Training Academy .

you got the job in the indian army through two ways by the upsc. you give the following exam which is given below:-

1. CDS EXAM
2. NDA EXAM


cds exam is based on the graduation and age limit is 21-25 years.
nda exam is based on the +2 and age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years only unmarried male candidate eligible for the exam.

For CDS exam

Eligibility criteria:-

Exam conducted bi-annually
Indian Maltery Accedmay age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years
Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years

The qualification is required for the cds exam is different-2 is like as:-

for the Indian military academy graduation in any stream form the recognized university.
for the officer training academy graduation in any stream form the recognized university.
for the Indian air force graduation in science stream form the recognized university.
for the naval graduation in science stream form the recognized university.

For NDA EXAM:-

age limit between the 16.5 years to 19 years only unmarried male candidate

QUALIFICATION:- the secondary class passed or appear with the science subject.

1. NDA EXAMINATION:-

THIS EXAMINATION IS HELD BY UPSC TWICE IN A YEAR FOR ENTRANCE IN ALL THE THREE WINGS OF INDIAN DEFENCE SYSTEM .


QUALIFICATION:-


* YOU MUST BE MEDICALLY FIT PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY BOTH. (ACCORDING TO THE CRITERIA)
* AGE MUST BE IN BETWEEN 16.5 - 19 YEARS.
* PASSED OR APPEARED IN 12TH.(WITH PCM FOR APPLYING AIORFORCE AND NAVY)
* HAVE NO MAJOR SURGERY IN THE PAST
* MINIMUM HEIGHT REQUIRED FOR ARMY IS 157 FOR ARMY
* YOU MUST BE UNMARRIED MALE.

SELECTION PROCESS:-

* WRITTEN TEST.
* SSB INTERVIEW.
* MEDICAL TEST.

TWO PAPERS: YOU HAVE TO GIVE TWO PAPERS IN THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION.

1. MATHEMATICS:- 300 MARKS. (2 AND A HALF HOURS)
2. GENERAL ABILITY- 600 MARKS (2 AND A HALF HOURS)



AND THE SECOND EXAM IS CDS EXAMINATION:-


CDS EXAM ALSO HELD TWICE IN A YEAR AND IT IS ALSO FOR ALL THE THREE BRANCHES OF INDIAN DEFENCE SYSTEM.


FOR IT YOU MUST HAVE THE QUALIFICATIONS GIVEN BELOW.



* For INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY/OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY.: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
* For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
* For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering


AGE CRITERIA:-

Naval Academy19-22 Years
Indian Military Academy 19-24 years
Air Force Academy19-23Years
Officers� Training Academy19-25Years.

through upsc you can either go for NDA or CDS to get a job in Indian army. the eligibility criteria for these exams are given below please take a look :

eligibility criteria for NDA(national defence academy)

1.Candidate must be an indian male.
2.Candidate should passed 10+2 from recognized board with mathematics,physics and english.
3.Age of candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years


Eligibility criteria for CDS:

1.graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
2.final year students can also eligible to apply for this exam.
3.age limit 21 to 25 years.
4.OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.


Also,
1. For IMA(Indian Military Academy) And OTA(Officer's Training Academy) student should have passed Graduation from a recognized university . And for the Indian Air Force Exam the candidate should be pass in Graduation( B.SC With Physics or Maths )
2.for IMA age should be between 19-24 years
3.for OTA age should be between 19-25 years
4.for IAF age should be between 19-22 years for IAF
