They want the best candidates for the post of IAS, IPS or IRS.

So you can also give the some benefits in this exam at the time of Interview.

To apply for the CSE you should satisfy the criteria of UPSC.


You should have bachelor degree in any stream

Age should be between 21 to 30 years

Relaxation in age for eligible candidates

Schedule caste and schedule tribes + 5 years

Other Backward Classes + 3 years

You must be Indian.

If you fulfill the above criteria you can apply for civil exam.

You can apply for civil exam through UPSC official website

if you want to apply through Offline application form then purchase form from head post office.

IPS aspirants should have following physical standards
1) Height:
men 165 cm
women 150 cm
2) Chest Girth expandable
Men 84 cm women 79 cm (expansion : 5 cm)
3) Spectacles are allowed, But UPSC does not mention anything about LASik
4) All joints should show perfect motion
these are specified according to UPSC. You should be courageous and have good problem solving & decision making skills
