General studies paper is an imporatant paper from the mains and prelims point of view.It will help you in essay paper and interview as well.

firstly,you should prepare current affairs well from the magazines and newspaper.you can choose one or two newspaper and one magazine for covering this portion.

for polity section you can prepare using basu and lakshmikanth.

for history section you can prepare from spectrum and bipin chandra

for geography you can through ncert and khullar or any book on indian geography

for statistics you can use ncert or spectrums book on statitics.

for economy you have to read datt and sundaram,economic survey etc..

for rest of the topics please read the newspapers and increase your awareness about various topics.

prepare well.
