For girls doing jobs through ies is not hard rather comfortable.ladies staff are given priority about their duties and posting by the railway dept.itself.so,women must not be afraid about to job in rail dept.

Any recognized b,e can appear ies,the gen,get 4 chances to clear,the obc category get 7 attempts to clear ies and s.c./st have no limit.

After clearance of ies candidates are capable to opt jobs in various govt.organization as per their merit,choice.

a girl can easily work in railways and there is no any difficulty for a girl to work.

if you want to become an engineer in central govt. departments like railways , power plants and .................etc.

than you have to pass the INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES..


It is a national level examination conducted by upsc every year once.

here i share you the eligibility criteria and the details about the same .



eligibility criteria:-


* the candidate must be in between 21-30 years.
and the age relaxation is given as per the govt. rules.

* the candidate must be an engineering graduate in of the following branches.

* CIVIL ENGINEERING.
* ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.
* MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.
* ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING.

IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN RAILWAY DEPARTMENTS THAN YOU HAVE NOT TO WORRY,

BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY JOBS IN DIFFERENT SECTORS ALSO .LIKE.

No, your thoughts are not correct, there is no much difficulty for a Girl to work in Indian Railway Dept through IES.

i hav completed my BE in civil engineering and i'm interested to take up IES exam...but many say lik it is tough for a gal can't work in railway dept n stuffs.... the fact is i knw nothing abt what work actually hav to be done in case if i clear IES exam.... so plz help me out!!!! i wanna knw evrythin abt it...lik what kinda work??? can i cope up???
