Attachment 6713 Hi Aspirant, Friend after completing the charted accountant you can apply for civil service exam. Charted accountant have not any specific benefits in civil exam. They are also same just like other candidates. They can get only one benefit in optional subject, they can choose commerce and accounts as one optional subject. Civil service exam is organized by UPSC every year for the recruitment of post of IAS, IPS or IRS. This exam is conducted at all India level. Eligibility criteria for civil service exam Candidates with graduation can apply for civil service exam. You can apply for civil service in age of 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation as per government norms SC/ST + 5 years OBC + 3 years PH + 10 years You must be Indian Exam pattern for civil service exam Preliminary exam Attachment 6714 Mains exam Attachment 6715Interview Candidates who got the adequate marks in written exam are called for the Interview. AS you know civil service is the toughest exam of India and you have need of dedication to crack the UPSC exam. So work hare for the preparation. Study in a systematic way in right direction. I am a sudent of Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India, I am in CA Final and undergoing my articleship my attempt of Ca Final is in 2014.
