UPSC civil services is neither a very tough exam nor so easy. If you are doing a planed study then i am sure that you will crack this exam.
Tips For Cracking exam is
1. Be confident
2. never think negative thinking in your mind
3. read news paper daily. reading newspaper is very beneficial for you because you cover a lot of awareness from this.
4. be regular that means continuity in your study is very important part of your preparation.
5. make a friend circle where you can discuss your problem related to UPSC

Candidate must be graduate from any recognized university.

Age must be between 21-30 years

Age relaxation for OBC 3 years and SC/ST 5 years

Civil Service Exam is tough so work hard is necessary.

I think only weekend is not enough for preparation.

You should join any Best Coaching Center or

Should study at home daily 2 or 3 hours.

You should solve previous question paper.
You should helping books of Good Prakashan.

Hi,
I am a software engineer working in a reputed company and aspiring to give Civil Services exam.
Would it be possible for me to study on weekends and still be able to crack this exam ?
If yes , then plz let me know the mandatory as well as optional subjects and best books for it .
Also does the syllabus changes every year ? ..because if I buy the books now and give the exam 2-3 yrs later then may be by that time syllabus may change .....
Do u recommend to join any coaching class or is it possible for anyone to crack this exam studying on their on own ?
